Tea Tree Essential Oil
Tea Tree Oil is a traditional remedy for Australian aborigines. Tea Tree Oil is extracted from the leaves and stems of the shrub. Recent studies have shown that Tea Tree Oil can fight all kinds of bacterial, fungal and viral infections. It also supports the immune system in its fight against infections.
In intestinal affections, prepare a toddy with 2 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil, to be taken before meals 3 times a day for 3 days. To maintain oral hygiene, 1 drop of Tea Tree on the toothbrush.
Use the basic essential oil in your pharmacy. For nervous conditions, apply a few drops on the neck, the solar plexus, or the soles of the feet and massage gently. To disinfect wounds apply a few drops on a piece of cotton and apply to the infected wound. Essential Oil Tea Tree is recognized to treat insect bites, remember to bring this oil when you go out in the forest or camping. It has its effect on warts, putting 1 drop on a wart 3 times a day will make it disappear in a short time.
Internal use: 3 drops morning and evening (in empty capsules or with honey or on a sugar square). Do not give orally to children under 12 years old without the advice of a therapist.
Massage as anointing: apply 3 to 4 drops of pure essential oil to the area affected or to be treated. Diluted in a little sweet almond oil (about 1 tablespoon) 3 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil and 3 drops of eucalyptus essential oil rubbed on the chest to clear the airways.
Massage: mix the essential oil with sweet almond oil. For a quicker recovery massage, the back and chest with an equal portion of Tea Tree Essential Oil and orange essential oil in a little sweet almond oil is an effective treatment to promote tone and energy. The vitamin C found in orange essential oil stimulates the immune system.
In the bath: Pour 15 drops of pure essential oil under the swirl of the tap or mix with sweet almond oil or on a handful of sea salt. For venous circulation and genitourinary infections, 15 drops of Essential Oil Tea Tree in the bath for 5 consecutive days. In bath for the disorders of circulation, put 7 drops of Tea Tree and 7 drops of sage on a handful of sea salt or coarse salt.
Inhalation: Apply 2 or 3 drops on a handkerchief and breathe for a few minutes. Stop if you feel any discomfort. Repeat as often as necessary. Or boil water, remove from heat, pour into a bowl, add a few drops of essential oil, cover head with a towel and breathe gently.
As a compress: Add a few drops of essential oil to a bowl of very hot water. Dip a clean cloth in the water. Wring out and place the compress on the affected area. Repeat the operation as often as necessary.
In diffusion: Add a few drops in a diffuser and let it act for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Precautions for use
For internal use: Do not administer to children under 12 years old, to pregnant women (emmenagogue action), and to breast-feeding women (galactogenic action)
